BSP supremo Mayawati.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Mayawati criticized the respective governments for the recent violent incidents in Rajasthan, Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. In a series of tweets on Sunday, Mayawati has questioned the “silence” of the state’s ruling Congress government in the lynching case of a Dalit in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
He said that the lynching of a Dalit in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan is very sad and condemnable, but why is the Congress high command silent? Will the Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh and Punjab go there and give 50-50 lakh rupees to the victim’s family? BSP wants answers. Otherwise stop shedding crocodile tears in the name of Dalits.
Questions raised on BJP’s working style
Referring to the incident of Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, in another tweet, he said that the name of Union Minister (Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra) coming in the headlines in the Lakhimpur Kheri heinous case raises many questions on the working style of the BJP government. In such a situation, BJP should resign from its minister itself, only then there can be hope of some justice to the suffering farmers.
Raising the issue of killing of two people by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir recently, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that the killing of innocent people being done by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on a daily basis is very sad and shameful. The BSP demands the central government to take strict steps.
Plans will be completed on time
Mayawati said on Saturday that if her party forms the government in the next year’s assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, then the schemes of the central and state government will not be stopped but they will be completed on time. In a tribute meeting organized at the Kanshi Ram memorial site on the 15th Parinirvan Diwas of BSP founder Kanshi Ram, Mayawati said that the people have made up their mind to change power in Uttar Pradesh. He also demanded to give Bharat Ratna to Kanshi Ram.
