In India, corona vaccination program has been started from April 1 for all people above 45 years of age. So far, over 7.44 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccines have been applied in the country. Under the vaccination campaign, the UP government has issued a vaccination plan for people, employees above 45 years of age.
According to a state government statement, the Yogi government in UP has announced a special vaccination campaign from April 8 and till April 23. In which the media workers will first be vaccinated. Apart from this, vaccines will be given to government employees, private employees and bus-auto rickshaw drivers.
Who will get the vaccine on which day
April 8-9- Media Worker
April 10 – Bank-insurance personnel
12-14 April – School-college teacher
April 15-16 – Bus-auto rickshaw driver
17-19 April – Government officials-employees
April 20-21- Lawyer
22–23 April- Private employees
The government has appealed to all those people whose age is more than 45 years. The government has said in its appeal that those who are above 45 years must apply Kovid vaccination on these dates. All will be given special priority and facilities.
Over 7.44 crore doses have been applied in the country so far
So far, over 7.44 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccines have been applied in the country. This information was given by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday.
According to the Health Ministry report till 8 pm, 7,44,42,267 doses of the vaccine have been applied. Of these, 89,53,552 health workers have been given the first dose and 53,06,671 health workers have been given the second dose. The first dose has been given to 96,19,289 personnel of Advance Front and the second dose to 40,18,526 personnel.
Apart from this, the first dose has been given to 4,57,78,875 beneficiaries above 45 years of age and the second dose to 7,65,354 beneficiaries.
The ministry said, “13,00,146 doses of the vaccine have been given till eight o’clock on Saturday evening. Today was the 78th day of nationwide Kovid-19 vaccination. Of these, 11,86,621 beneficiaries were given the first dose and 1,13,525 beneficiaries were given the second dose. ”In addition, 11,23,851 and 78,012 beneficiaries above 45 years of age were given the first and second doses respectively.
The nationwide vaccination program was started on January 16 and the first health workers were vaccinated. At the same time, vaccination of the personnel of the advance front was started from February 2.
The next phase of Kovid-19 vaccination was started from March 1 for people over 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with other serious illnesses. A vaccination program for all people above 45 years of age was started in India from April 1.
