Addressing the farmers, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Sanjeev Balyan appealed to them to get artificial insemination of animals done. More than one lakh farmers were involved in this program organized virtually.
Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Sanjeev Balyan (Sanjeev Balyan ) has appealed to the farmers to promote advanced technology in animal breeding. He participated in a program organized under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi and Kisan Bhagidari Primary Our Campaign.Farmer’s) was addressed. While addressing the farmers virtually, he said that now breeder farm entrepreneurs and fodder entrepreneurs have also become part of the National Livestock Mission (NLM) and Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM) schemes. He said that the National Livestock Mission will help in building rural entrepreneurship and provide employment to unemployed youth and livestock owners in livestock, dairy, poultry, sheep, goat and pigs. Compliance And fodder for animals will help in creating better livelihood opportunities in the sector and will pave the way towards self-reliant India.
Farmers should promote artificial insemination
Under the program, while addressing virtually one lakh farmers of Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Sanjeev Balyan stressed on the importance of adopting advanced techniques in animal breeding and its implementation at the grassroot level. He also appealed to the farmers to promote artificial insemination (AI) and making silage (safe green fodder) to take advantage of various existing central schemes. At the same time, Secretary of the department Jatindra Nath Swain informed the farmers about the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana and Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund. He said that all the fishermen and fish farmers of the country can take advantage of all the important schemes of the Department of Fisheries.

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying is organizing awareness programs on the entrepreneurship schemes of the department and other beneficiary best flagship projects under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Kisan Bhagidari Primary Humari Abhiyan. This work is being done through a network of Citizen Service Centers by organizing 8000 village level camps across the country. These campaigns are being organized from 25 April to 28 April 2022. In this, one lakh farmers are joining every day through Citizen Service Centers across the country. In the program of Union Minister of State Sanjeev Balyan, informational sessions on livestock management during summer season and information about fodder management and success were also given. Along with this, how the application can be made on the scheme portal through CSC itself, it was also told about it.
