Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh held a review meeting on the growing affairs of Corona and other things. During this, he appealed to the central government employees of more than 45 years to apply the corona vaccine. The meeting was attended by Union Secretary DOPT, Deepak Khandekar, Central Secretary Administrative Reform Indraveer Pandey, Central Secretary and Establishment Officer K Srinivasan, Central Secretary Alok Ranjan, Secretary Sujata Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary Pension SN Mathur and other senior leaders.
Seeing the surge in corona cases, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an office memorandum, advising all central government employees over the age of 45 to get vaccinated so as to effectively spread corona Possible. Such government employees were advised to follow all the rules related to corona even after vaccination.
Government is keeping an eye on the situation in Corona
Giving information about the meeting, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that from time to time, the Ministry of Personnel issues instructions and preventive guidelines to prevent the spread of corona. He said, the government is monitoring the situation very closely and depending on the strategy adopted to prioritize vaccination, all persons aged 45 years or above can participate in the exercise. He said, it is necessary for all government employees to take advantage of this vaccination facility to ensure their safety and also to provide protection to the people who come in contact with them.
He explained that during the past one year, the DoPT had developed a set of guidelines to be followed in government offices, which sought to stop the spread of not only the corona virus, but to run the office effectively. Was the goal. He said, the protocol for home-to-work (WFH) developed by DoPT has been so successful that at times, work output was higher than normal conditions as government officials were working online even on weekdays or holidays.
