Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from 23 October to 25 October. People familiar with the development gave this information under the mega outreach program of the central government. Shah’s three-day visit marks the culmination of the second edition of the central government’s mega outreach programme, which began on September 8 this year. Under this 70 Union Ministers visited Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir will be the first after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 and was designed to inform the public about various central schemes as well as get feedback from the ground. Shah will also meet leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here. During this, issues like security, development projects, mega outreach programs etc. will be discussed. During their visit so far, many Union Ministers have interacted with the local people, representatives of administration and Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Anti-terrorist operation intensifies in Kashmir
Nine militants have been killed in six encounters in the past six days after security forces intensified counter-insurgency operations following targeted killings of minority civilians in Kashmir. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on October 7 directed security forces and intelligence agencies to neutralize the threat from Pakistan-based terrorist groups in Kashmir. After this, there has been an increase in anti-terrorist operations.
Amit Shah will go to Goa on October 14
Let us inform that Amit Shah will go to Goa on October 14 to lay the foundation stone of the National Forensic Science University. It is reported, “During his visit to Goa, the Union Home Minister will perform ‘Bhoomi Pujan and Foundation Stone Layas’ for the National Forensic Science University and will also address a public meeting in Dharbandora. He will also inaugurate the transit campus of NFSU at Curti Ponda. Shah will also attend a meeting at Talegao Community Hall.
