Ved Vyas Awas Yojana: Ved Vyas Yojana is being run in the state to provide pucca houses to the fish farmers of Jharkhand. Under this scheme, those farmers will be eligible to take benefits, who do fish farming or sell fish in any natural water source like river, pond or big reservoir. Ved Vyas Awas Yojana (Ved Vyas Awas YojanaBy taking advantage of this, fishermen can build a pucca house for themselves. This scheme will also be applicable for 2022-23. Under this, fishermen who cultivate or sell fish in natural water resources such as ponds, rivers, large reservoirs or any other natural source will be eligible to take benefits under this scheme. Under this scheme, those fishermen will be given a pucca house. The cost of a house to be built under the scheme has been kept at one lakh 20 thousand rupees. That is, one lakh twenty thousand rupees will be given to a fisherman to build a pucca house.
Fishermen of 19 districts of Jharkhand will get benefit
In the year 2022-23, a target has been set to build 250 pucca houses under the Ved Vyas Awas Yojana. This year 250 fishermen will be given pucca houses under this scheme. Three crore rupees will be spent by the state government for the scheme. Fishermen of 19 districts out of 24 districts of Jharkhand will get the benefit of this scheme. Because 19 districts have been selected for the scheme. To take advantage of the scheme, those fishermen who do not have a pucca house or whose roof is not pucca can apply.
There is 10 percent reservation for women
To take advantage of the scheme, fishermen should have their own land. To prove their land, the fishermen will have to produce a land ownership certificate. Along with this, it will also have to be proved that they have not already received any kind of benefit from any other scheme like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Fisherman Awas Yojana. In this, it is the effort of the government that the benefit of the housing scheme will be in the name of both husband and wife. Three percent of the total housing target is reserved for Divyangjan. Also 10 percent is reserved for women. While 50 houses have been kept reserved for the Scheduled Castes. To take advantage of the scheme, fishermen can apply to the District Fisheries Officer of the concerned district.
