Workers die after being hit by electric wire (Social Media)
There is a bad news from Gumla district of Jharkhand on the day of Vijayadashami. In Gumla district, there has been a major accident due to an electric wire. Where two laborers have died while 10 other laborers have been injured after being hit by a swinging electric wire. Women are also among the injured and dead. The incident is from Dumratoli locality of Gumla city. Where the electric wire was swinging. The workers got caught in this. Due to this, two laborers died on the spot while 10 other laborers were injured. The injured have been sent to Gumla Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the condition of many is said to be serious.
People blocked the road in protest
Roshan Khadia was a resident of Bangru village of Gumla, out of the two laborers who died due to electric wire. Whose age is being told as 34 years while the other is a female laborer whose name is Alka Toppo. Alka, 20, was a resident of Dhodhara village in Toppo district. Apart from this, 10 laborers have been injured. It is being told about the incident that after the incident there was chaos in the area. After this, angry villagers blocked NH 23 in protest. The villagers, who were blocking the main road, demanded immediate repair of the power wire and compensation. After getting information about the incident, Gumla SDPO Manish Chandra and Thanedar Manoj Kumar reached the spot and tried to convince the protesting villagers.
Accident happened while running mixer machine
It is being told about the incident that a mixer machine was being run by the laborers to do the molding of the house in Dumar Toli locality of Gumla. At that time the mixer machine came in contact with the electric wire swinging there. Due to which 12 laborers who were pushing the machine got a strong electric shock. Due to this, two laborers died on the spot. While 10 other laborers were injured. Due to which there was panic in the area and people started shouting to save them. Then the people around took the injured to the hospital.
These workers have been injured
Among the workers who were injured in the incident, Kartik Khadia Bangru, Surendra Gop Mamrla, Santosh Lakra Urmi, Mangri Kumari Dhodhara, Bindu Devi Bangru, Bulki Lakra Dhodhara, Ravi Gop Mamrla, Soni Minj Dhodhara, Rajni Kumari Dhodhara and Sumit Oraon Dhodhara were given treatment. Gumla Sadar Hospital has been sent.
