Mukhtar Ansari has moved from Ropar Jail in Punjab to Banda Jail in UP. At around 4.30 am on Wednesday, the convoy of police reached Banda jail with Mukhtar Ansari under tight security. Meanwhile, Mukhtar has been told by Ambhtance the driver (Mukhtar Ansari Ambulance) the whole story from Ropar Jail to Bandu. Shivshankar, the driver of the ambulance who brought Mukhtar from Ropar to Punjab in an ambulance, said that Mukhtar’s name was heard but seen for the first time.
He said that I had no fear of Mukhtar but my family was worried. The family was constantly calling me. Shivshankar told that when Mukhtar Ansari was being offered from the Ropar jail (Mukhtar Ansari Ropar Jail) in an ambulance, I saw him. He was mounted on a wheel chair and later he lay down on the stretcher. Throughout the journey, Mukhtar lay and sat on the stretcher. During the journey, Mukhtar also spoke to Shivshankar. Mukhtar asked Shishankar where is he from and what is his name.

A doctor, pharmacist, SI and a soldier were also seated in the abulance. Mukhtar was talking to all of them. Mukhtar Ansari ate the food that came with everyone in the packet. Talked to policemen about food. Mukhtar also complained to Dr. about his back pain and asked him to get physiotherapy. Mukhtar remained in the kurta and pajamas in the abulance. He was not wearing a bullet proof jacket. Shivshankar said that there was no fear on Mukhtar’s face, rather he was trying to look good.
Ambulance stopped at only one place
During the entire journey, Mukhtar stayed at the Satti police station in the Kanpur countryside only for the washroom, but he did not ask for an abulance. Shivshankar told that the mobiles of the policemen were taken and no one was aware of the route. Just police vehicles were asked to follow.
