In the West Bengal Assembly Election, there has been a dispute in the state leadership over the BJP (BJP) crushing defeat. Senior party leader and former Governor of Meghalaya and Tripura Tathagat Roy has questioned the decision of other BJP leadership including state BJP president Dilip Ghosh and in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya (Kailash Vijyavargiya).
Raising the question of giving tickets to film stars on a large scale in the assembly elections, Tathagata Roy said that tickets were given to such film and TV actors who are completely ignorant politically.
Film and TV actors who never had anything to do with politics, let alone BJP,were handed tickets by BJP’s election management team. Parno Mitra (Baranagar),Srabanti Chatterjee (Behala West),Payel Sarkar (Behala East). These women were so politically stupid that they had gone on

Tathagata Roy tweeted, “Quoting BJP candidates like Parno Mitra, Shravanti Chatterjee and Payal Sarkar, they said that they were roaming the boat and taking selfies with TMC candidate Madan Mitra just a month before the election. He asked, on what basis did he give the ticket? What great qualities did these TV actors have? “
Payal Sravanti Parno etc. ‘City actresses’ have been playing with election money and Madan has gone on a boat trip with Mitra and taken a selfie (and has become a lost ghost). Who gave them tickets? Why or why not? Will Dilip-Kailash-Shivprakash-Arvind Prabhu shed some light?

On Tuesday, he wrote on Twitter that Kailash Vijayvargiya, Dilip Ghosh & Co. should answer this. He said that the ticket distribution should not forget that BJP ticket is capital for us and should have been given to deserving candidates. Tathagata Roy, president of the Bengal BJP from 2002 to 2006, claimed in his tweet that one of the possible reasons behind the BJP’s defeat is that politically stupid TV actors were made candidates.
