Police officials of Raipur district said on Friday that the police has issued a notice to former Chief Minister Raman Singh that he has to be questioned, so that he should be present at his place of residence on the 24th of this month.

Raipur district police has issued a notice to them after an FIR was lodged against former Chief Minister Raman Singh in an alleged toolkit case in Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarh). Also, CM Raman has been asked to be present in his place of residence on the 24th of this month. Raipur district police officials said on Friday that the police has issued a notice to former Chief Minister Raman Singh that he has to be questioned, so that he should be present at his residence at 12.30 pm on the 24th of this month.
He told that in the notice, Raman Singh has been asked to give information that the Twitter account under his name is his and that he should give access to that account. It has also been asked to provide information about who received the documents named ‘AICC Research Project’ and ‘Cornering Narendra Modi and BJP on Covid Management’. They have been asked to give information about the communication you have made to other accused / persons using the ‘Congress Tool Kit Exposed’ hashtag.
BJP protest against state government
After the alleged toolkit case came to light, the state president of NSUI, the student organization of the state’s ruling party Congress, has filed a case against former Chief Minister Raman Singh and BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra at the Civil Lines police station here. After registering a case against Singh and Patra, today the leaders and workers of the main opposition party of the state, Bharatiya Janata Party, staged a sit-in against the state government.
