The witness of the Tikunia incident, Dilbag Singh, was attacked by bike-borne miscreants on Tuesday night. The attack took place when he was going to his house. Bike-riding miscreants fired three rounds at them.
On Tuesday night, two bike-borne assailants opened fire on Dilbag Singh, the district president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union and a witness in the Tikuniya violence case. Three rounds were fired at his car. In which they are left only. This whole matter is of Aliganj of Gola Kotwali area of Lakhimpur Kheri. The attack took place at around 9.30 pm when Dilbagh Singh was going back to his house in his car. Earlier, ink was thrown at farmers union leader Rakesh Tikait in Bengaluru.
Witness in Dilbagh Singh Tikunia case
In Lakhimpur Kheri, District President of Kisan Union Dilbagh Singh is a witness in the Tikunia case. On Tuesday night, when Dilbagh Singh was going home in his car, there was firing on him. This incident happened near Bhadend village of Gola Kotwali area. While overtaking the car, two bike-riding youths fired on the tire of the first car. After this two rounds were fired on the glass of the car. In this attack, farmer leader Dilbag Singh narrowly escaped.
Big mistake in Dilbad’s security
At the same time, great negligence of the police has been seen in this whole matter. Dilbag Singh is a witness in the Tikunia violence case, but no security personnel was present with him late at night. Somewhere a big lapse in their security has come to the fore. Dilbag Singh informed the police officers about this. The police team reached the spot, took full information about the incident from Dilbagh Singh and launched a raid operation in search of the suspects. However, till now the police have not been able to arrest any of the attackers. Police officials say that soon those who attack Dilbag Singh will be caught.
Ink thrown at Rakesh Tikait in Bangalore
Ink was thrown at Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait during a program in Bengaluru on Monday. Rakesh Tikait was holding a press conference at the Press Club in Bengaluru. When Tikait was about to do PC, at the same time an unknown person threw ink on him. After this, the supporters of Rakesh Tikait also caught the person who threw the ink and thrashed him fiercely.
