Three accused arrested with 84 kg beef in Sultanpur, two knives including country-made katta also recovered

Kudwar police station of Sultanpur district on Tuesday arrested three accused with 84 kg of beef and arms. The police gave this information on Tuesday. According to the police, a pistol, one cartridge, two chappads, two knives and a motorcycle have been recovered from these accused.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (City) Raghavendra Chaturvedi said that when the police team found three people in suspicious condition near the garden of village Kotia Sakil Mulla on Tuesday morning, they were detained and searched. He told that 84 kg beef and weapons were recovered from them in a sack. The arrested accused have been identified as Mahtab, Faheem and Mohammad Ejaz, all residents of village Kotia police station Kudwar.

All three were sent to jail

Apart from the Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, a case was registered against the three accused under relevant sections and presented in Sultanpur court from where all three were sent to jail.
