According to Chhattisgarh public relations, under the State Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme, tribal women associated with self-help groups here have been given 5 milch cows in the second installment for the purpose of livelihood promotion. Collector Dr. Priyanka Shukla has provided the amount of contribution to the women of self-help groups from the District Mineral Trust Fund. The women of the group have earned an income of up to Rs 10,000 from the cows donated earlier. Dairy farming is producing 50-60 liters of milk per day by the women of the group.

Till now, these women have earned an income of Rs. one lakh 2 thousand from the sale of milk. Along with this, an additional profit of Rs 2500 has been made by producing pesticides from cow urine. The women of the group are happy and satisfied after getting benefits from this scheme met at the village level. This scheme is proving to be a mill stone in women empowerment and strengthening. These women have thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for implementing the Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme and livelihood promotion.
