Wheat has prepared a special machine for paddy farmers. Rice and wheat can be sown through this machine. In sowing with this machine, seeds are sown scientifically, due to which distance etc. is taken care of.
In paddy sowing, the distance from plant to plant should be 8 centimeters and the distance of the queue to be 20 centimeters.
There is good news for those farmers, who cultivate wheat or paddy. Actually, most of the farmers use sprinkler method during sowing, due to which their sowing is not done properly. This not only keeps the distance in mind, nor does the depth of the seed remain the same, which greatly affects the yield. In such a situation, some scientists have created a machine, which you can easily run and sow in your field.
Let us know who designed this machine, how it works and how much difference is made in the cost and yield through this machine. Know everything related to this machine…
According to a report by DD Kisan, Professor scientists of Rajendra Prasad Central University of Agriculture have prepared a special machine. Rice and wheat can be sown through this machine. In sowing with this machine, seeds are sown scientifically, due to which distance etc. is taken care of. Along with this, the cost of sowing reduces significantly and the yield in the field also increases significantly.
Actually, in paddy sowing, the distance from plant to plant should be 8 cm and the distance of the row to be 20 cm. The special thing is that this machine is capable of maintaining this distance. In addition, the seed is sown at the same desired depth. Sowing in line also helps in irrigation and weeding and weeding can also be done easily.
How does it work?
This machine consists of two drums and up to five kilos of seeds can be filled at a time, but experts recommend only three kilos for this. Each drum has 2 holes for sowing seeds. In such a situation, there are four sowing in running a machine and the depth of the seed can be reduced more or less.
The cost is much less
Sowing by hand takes a lot of time and many laborers are required for that. While only two people can run this machine and only two people can sow it easily in the field. From this, up to half a hectare can be sown in a day, that is, it can be sown in the biggest field in a few days.
The special thing is that it has also been trained on many lands. In addition to Bihar, the machine was demonstrated in front of farmers in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. The results were very positive and this saw a rise in yield from 5 to 25 percent. Not only this, on the sowing of the machine, there was a saving of 10 thousand 450 rupees per hectare crop cost. Many farmers have believed that using this rice-wheat sowing machine, paddy can be cultivated successfully. This leads to a net saving of 4 thousand to 5 thousand rupees per acre.
