Preparation to deal with monsoon

Campaign to free roads
Earlier, the Delhi government has launched a big campaign to make the roads a pit free before the monsoon. Under this, PWD has initiated action to fill 3,400 pits. On the development road of Laxmi Nagar area, the work of filling the pit was already seen going on. At the same time, work is going on in Shahdara, Chittaranjan Park, South Delhi, Mehrauli, New Delhi, Odd Delhi, West Delhi and other places since morning.
Minister Pravesh Verma had said that the Public Works Department will fill 3400 pits in a day before the monsoon to make more than 1400 km of roads safe and smooth. Minister Pravesh Verma said that this campaign is not just to repair roads, it is a symbol of our accountability towards the people of Delhi.
