Traffic diversion will be held in Bareilly during Moharram
In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, the Matami procession of Moharram will come out from the city and villages on Sunday. In view of this, the police-administration has made strict traffic arrangements in the entire city. Entry of heavy vehicles has been completely stopped at many places from 6 am to 4 pm on Sunday. SP Traffic Akmal Khan said that during this time many routes will be diverted so that the procession can come out comfortably and there is no jam like jam in the city.
What ways will be diverted
- Heavy vehicles will not go from Jhumka Tiraha towards mini bypass. Here only vehicles will be able to go to Parsakheda industrial area from road number-1.
- Roadways buses will go to the satellite bus stand via Willwa underpass, Izatnagar, Delapir, 100 Futa Road and will return from there.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Delhi, Moradabad and Rampur will be able to go to Transport Nagar via Jhumka Tiraha, Navadia Jada, Invertis Tiraha.
- Vehicles coming from Pilibhit, Nainital will reach the transport city from Invertis Tiraha via Bada bypass.
- Vehicles going from Delhi, Rampur, Bareilly towards Badaun will go out of Nawada turn via Badi bypass, Jhumka Tiraha, Faridpur, Fatehganj. Heavy vehicles going towards Lucknow will go through a big bypass.
- All heavy vehicles will be completely closed from the satellite bus stand towards Invertis Tirahe and from Invertis towards the satellite.
- For these, the way for Bisalpur Tiraha, Ramganga Colony has been kept through the big bypass.
Completely no entry on these paths
- All types of vehicles will be completely banned on some routes for Moharram procession.
- From the mini bypass, no vehicle will be able to go towards the fort bridge and groom Mian's tomb. All the vehicles going from the outpost intersection to Chaupula and Fort Bridge will be stopped.
- All vehicles will also be closed from Kudeshia underpass towards the fort crossing. But light vehicles can come through Izatnagar Tiraha, Delapir, Shyamganj Bridge and Gandhi Parks.
- Similarly, light vehicles will be able to go from the outpost intersection to Gandhi Udyan, Shyamganj Bridge, Delapir.
SP traffic appeal – keep a little restraint
SP Traffic Akmal Khan said that this diversion is for your safety and convenience. If people walk through the stated paths, then there will be no jam, nor the police will have to do strictness. He also said that the traffic police personnel will be deployed everywhere so that people can catch the right route. They requested the drivers not to go to the restricted routes at all, and use alternative routes to save time.
