In his address after inaugurating the newly built BJP office in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, Nadda also claimed that from July, the country would start producing six to seven crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines per month and by December. About 19 companies will produce 200 crore doses of vaccines.

Oxygen delivered by making green corridor
JP Nadda said, “There was a shortage of oxygen in the last days … the Prime Minister has delivered oxygen within a week, through ships in water, on land and in water, by creating green corridors on the roads and by trains and even by aircraft in the sky. And this shortcoming was removed in a week.” In the month of April-May, there were many cases of lack of oxygen in different parts of the country and due to this many people died in some other parts of the country including the capital Delhi. In view of this shortage, the central government had to import oxygen from abroad through various means.
Now producing 9446 metric tons of oxygen
Nadda said that earlier where only 900 metric tonnes of oxygen was produced in the country, now it is producing 9446 metric tonnes. Referring to the vaccination campaign, the BJP President said that the process of vaccines started in India only in the month of April and till January, two vaccines were made available in the country in just nine months. He said that this happened when opposition parties constantly raised questions about this campaign and tried to derail it.
1 crore doses are being produced every month
Nadda said, “Today the production of anti-Covid-19 vaccines is 10 million doses per month and in the month of July-August, the production will increase to 6-7 crore doses per month. It is also expected that by September this production will become 100 million doses per month. By December, about 19 companies will produce 200 crore doses. The vaccination is expected to be completed by December.” He claimed that the vaccination campaign is going on at the fastest pace in India as compared to the developed countries.
