The husband, accused of killing his wife, took a train journey of several hundred kilometers to save himself from the clutches of the law. The wife was also murdered in the moving train itself. Railway police lightened by corpse in train compartment
This anecdote is about four years ago from now i.e. of July 2018. Connected to two police stations of the country’s capital Delhi, Uttam Nagar and Old Delhi Railway Station Thana (Delhi Main Railway Station GRP Thana). Inspector Vimal Kumar was the SHO of Old Delhi Railway Station police station. The Old Delhi Railway Station Police (GRP) was in a hurry to identify the unclaimed body of a woman recovered from the train compartment in those days. The woman’s body recovered on 7 July 2018 was recovered by the Delhi Railway Police from an empty train compartment at the Old Delhi Railway Yard.
The Moradabad passenger train in which the police found the unclaimed body of the woman in the compartment had reached the Old Delhi Rail Yard in the early hours of July 7, 2018. The body was kept lying on the back in the lower berth (on the lower seat) of coach number-01457. The average age of the woman was close to 40 years. There were no external signs of injury on his body. At first sight, it seemed as if the woman had a heart attack in her sleep and she had died. Around the woman’s neck, but her sardine was tied in this style, as if someone else had tied her and suddenly tightened her neck while she was sleeping.
The murderer himself went to the police station
The next day the police got the postmortem report of the woman. The post-mortem report confirmed the apprehension of the police which it had already suspected. The woman was murdered by strangling her while she was sleeping with her sardine. In such a situation, the question was that in the presence of other passengers in the train compartment, how could anyone have escaped cleanly by killing a woman? The police registered a murder case at the Old Delhi Railway Station police station without the postmortem report. After that the dead body was declared as unclaimed and its last rites were performed.
20-22 days after the body was found, suddenly on 23 July 2018, a 52-53 year old man reached the SHO Old Delhi Railway Station (GRP) Inspector Vimal Kumar. He named his name as Abdul Hakim Ansari, a resident of Uttam Nagar, Delhi, and a native of Gorakhpur, UP. Abdul Hakim told the SHO that, “The dead body found in the Moradabad passenger’s compartment could be that of his wife Mahshar Jahan.” Suddenly, after reaching the police station after so many days, this claim of a stranger directly knocked out the SHO at first sight. The SHO asked Abdul Hakim Ansari, “How do you know that the body is of your wife Mahshar Jahan?”
Police’s connoisseur and vicious mind murderer
The question that came in the police style of the SHO, Abdul said, “My wife’s appearance is also similar to the one you removed from the woman’s body. If you show the dead body, then I can verify it by identifying it. I had also lodged a missing-report of Bibi’s disappearance in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar police station on 7th July itself. However, on July 6, Bibi suddenly disappeared from the house.” The SHO got the bag kept sealed in the police station, in which the clothes of the woman were kept for time-needs and identification. From the clothes, Abdul identified that those clothes belonged to his third wife Mahshar Jahan.
Inspector Vimal Kumar’s head shook once again when he heard ‘Third Bibi’ from Abdul’s mouth. Thinking that one person has three wives. In that too the third Bibi was murdered. Therefore, without doubting Abdul Hakim Ansari, he answered some questions from him. Abdul told that his first two wives went away after divorcing him. The two boys who were born from the first wife also took them with her to Gorakhpur. The second wife, whose marriage lasted only 2-3 years. She also left because of not having children. Then she (Abdul Hakim Ansari, the suspect of the third wife’s murder) married Mahshar Jahan, who was going through the phase of compulsion and failure.
The murderer trapped in such a twisted dice and clutches
The reason Abdul told the police behind Mahshar Jahan’s disappearance and murder was his misbehavior. When the police inquired at their level, it came to know that Abdul Hakim Ansari is a person who enjoys and drinks. Once upon a time there used to be a factory for making cosmetic goods in Delhi. Which got ruined because of his abominations. Due to his antics, his two wives left earlier. Then she married for the third time in 2012 to Mahshar Jahan, a resident of East Delhi district. The reduction in his abs but still did not come. So he started selling cosmetic items after being ruined from all sides.
He had taken two life insurance policies a year before the murder of Mahshar Jahan (third wife). One for two lakhs and the other for 5 lakhs. For a year, the accused also paid the installments of both the policies. In both the policies, the accused had kept the ‘nominee’ himself. When the accused felt that now no one would suspect, he, on 6 July 2018, took him on a train journey from home on the pretext of strangling the third wife, Mahshar Jahan, who was sleeping on the seat in the train compartment.
A few days after the murder of the third wife, the murderer husband came to the insurance office by presenting a policy claim claim. After that, as soon as the accused felt that now the police has become cold. So on July 23, 2018, he also reached the Pale police station hoping to get the ‘death-certificate’ of his wife. Because the death certificate of the wife was necessary to get the insurance claim. And in this haste, even after taking all the precautionary steps, he got caught in the clutches of the law. At present, the husband, accused of killing the third wife in a moving train in order to grab the insurance amount, is lodged in Delhi jail.
