Ravindra Raina said that the killing of innocent persons by terrorists sponsored by Pakistan will not be tolerated. The 56-day annual pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave situated at an altitude of 3880 meters in the South Kashmir district of Jammu and Kashmir is to begin on June 28 via Pahalgam and Baltal routes. Travel should be done with limited number of people: BJP
BJP President Raina told after a meeting with senior BJP leaders at the party headquarters that Shiv devotees from all over the world come to Amarnath every year in June and July to have darshan in Kashmir. Due to Corona virus, big religious programs are not taking place in any part of the world. He said that in such a situation, travel should be done with at least limited number of people.
Discussion with Lt Governor regarding Amarnath Yatra
Ravindra Raina told that if Amarnath Yatra is not possible in view of the situation of corona virus. He said that at least prayers should be organized for the devotees of Baba. Raina said that at least a limited number of residents of Jammu and Kashmir should be allowed. He said that the strategy should be prepared keeping in mind the current difficult phase in the corona virus. We have discussed this issue with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
