In view of the success of this scheme on behalf of CM Baghel, on 31 March 2022, it was expanded to the urban body areas of the entire state and 60 more mobile medical units were started.
Chhattisgarh (Chhattisgarh) Under the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme, run by the Urban Administration and Development Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, with the objective of providing home access health facilities to the people living in slums of urban areas, so far the mobile medical team has collected 22 lakh 42 thousand 235 people. The first phase of the scheme was started on 1 November 2020.
Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria has directed the departmental officers to conduct a health check-up and provide free medicines to the needy people of urban areas and other needy people. The first phase of Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Health Scheme was started on 1 November 2020 to provide health facilities to the people living in slums of 14 municipal corporation areas of the state. Under this, health check-up and treatment and drug distribution of people were started by going to slums by 60 mobile medical units.
60 more new mobile medical units launched

Under this scheme, doctors, paramedical teams, 120 mobile medical units equipped with medical equipment and medicines are now providing health facilities to the people in the slums of the urban areas of the entire state.
2 lakh 34 thousand 553 laborers among patients
Under the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme, so far, 4 lakh 45 thousand 661 patients have been provided with the facility of pathology test and free medicines have been given to more than 18 lakh 38 thousand 804 patients. 2 lakh 34 thousand 553 workers are among the patients benefitted under this scheme. There is a lack of basic facilities in urban slum areas, so its effect is reflected in the health of the people living in them, to improve their health status, the decision to provide health facilities in the slum by forming a mobile medical team under the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme. was taken.
