The Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday that 84.73 per cent cases of corona have been reported from 8 states in the last 24 hours. These states are Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. According to the Health Ministry, due to these states, corona cases have increased the most in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Ministry, 53,480 new Kovid-19 cases have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours. With the new cases, there have been 12,149,335 cases of corona in the country so far. There has also been an increase of 11,846 in active cases. Now the active cases of Corona have been 552,566 in the country. In the last 24 hours, 354 people have died due to Corona. The number of people who lost their lives from Corona has increased to 162,468.
Maharashtra
On Tuesday, 27,918 new corona cases and 139 deaths were reported in Maharashtra. With this new number, the number of corona cases in the state has increased to 2,773,436. At the same time, the death toll has increased to 54,422. There are 340,542 active cases of corona in the state.
Chattisgarh
The total corona cases in Chhattisgarh have increased to 344,624. 3,108 new cases were registered in the state in the last 24 hours. There have been 35 deaths in the state, with which the death toll has increased to 4,131. The number of active cases here has increased to 22,057.
Karnataka
On Tuesday, 2,975 new cases were reported in Karnataka, along with 21 more people have died from Corona. In the state, 1,262 people have recovered from the infection.
Kerala
There have been 2,389 new corona cases in Kerala. With new cases, the number of corona infections in the state has increased to 112,100. Active cases in the state 24,650. At the same time, 1,946 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.
Tamil Nadu
On Tuesday, 2,342 new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu, due to which the number of infections in the state has increased to 884,094. In the state, 16 more people have died due to corona, with this the death toll has increased to 12,700. So far 856,548 cases have been recovered in the state.
Gujarat
There have been 2,220 new corona cases in Gujarat. The total number of infections with new cases has reached 305,338. With the death of 10 more people, the number of deaths from corona in the state has also increased to 4,510. With 1,988 recoveries, 288,565 cases of Corona have been recovered so far. There are currently 12,263 active cases in the state.
Punjab
In Punjab, 65 more people have died due to Corona, while 2,188 new cases have been reported. The number of deaths from corona in the state has increased to 6,813, while the total cases have increased to 236,790. The total active cases in the state are 23,731.
Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, 2,173 new cases of corona were registered on Tuesday, in which the number of infections has increased to 293,179. With the death of 10 more people in the state, the death toll has also increased to 3,977. So far, 273,168 cases have been recovered in the state.
