Terrorists targeted civilians, in retaliation, Indian security forces killed 13 terrorists in 9 encounters

In Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have now started targeting civilians to carry out their nefarious designs. In response to this, Indian security forces have also intensified the action against the terrorists. The figures of encounters that took place in the past are also proving this point. Kashmir Police Inspector General Vijay Kumar said on Saturday that in total 9 encounters, 13 terrorists have been killed by the security forces. “We have killed three out of five terrorists in Srinagar city in less than 24 hours,” he said. Talking to the media, he said that after the killing of civilians by the terrorists, 13 terrorists were killed by the security forces.

Earlier on Friday, IG Vijay Kumar had told that after the killings of civilians by the terrorists, the security forces killed 11 terrorists in 8 encounters. In the last few days, terrorists have targeted civilians. After which the Indian security forces have shown more speed in the action against the terrorists.

In fact, on the morning of 7 October, an unidentified man had entered the school in the historic Idgah in Srinagar and shot dead the principal and another teacher. Two days before this incident, terrorists of a terrorist organization affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba had killed three people, including a well-known pharmacist, in three separate incidents.

On Friday, a soldier from Uttarakhand was killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district and a JCO (junior commissioned officer) went missing, with this week 9 soldiers were martyred in anti-terror encounters.
