In Telangana, 1,097 new cases of Covid-19 (Covid 19) have increased the number of infected people to more than 3.13 lakh, while the death toll has increased to 1,723 as six more have died due to infection. The state government told about this on Monday.
According to the information given by the state government in the health bulletin till 8 pm on April 4, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has reported the highest number of 302 cases. After this, 138 cases have been reported in Medchal Malkajgiri and 116 in Rangareddy. The total number of cases is 3,13,237, while so far, 3,02,768 patients have been cured of infection due to the recovery of 268 patients.
Currently, 8,746 Kovid-19 patients are being treated in the state and 43,070 samples have been tested on Sunday. According to the bulletin, more than 2.80 lakh samples have been tested per 10 lakh population. The bulletin states that the death rate in the state is 0.55 percent while at the national level it is 1.3 percent.
