440 SUV trains will be available 24 hours for emergency service for Kovid patients.
The entire country is under the grip of Corona, every state governments are fighting their own way with Corona. Meanwhile, the Haryana Police has initiated a major initiative. The Haryana Police has once again taken the initiative to help the corona infected patients by embodying the slogan of service-security-cooperation. Now the police will go to the Corona patients to transport them to the hospital. The 440 ‘Kovid-19 Hospital Transport Service’ of the police will transport the needy from the free house to the hospital and back home.
For the purpose of giving relief to the patients during the Corona transition, the police headquarters has temporarily arranged 440 new Innova trains in all districts for this task. Giving information here today, Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Mr. Manoj Yadav said that 20 Toyota Innova SUVs are being given to the infected people in each district for free transport service.
The police officer said that these vehicles are being made available after the lack of ambulance and overcharging by the people providing private ambulance service. DGP said that it is our endeavor that no one should be deprived of medical services in this bad and difficult situation. In case of emergency, these police vehicles will work to provide relief to the infected persons by providing free transport services to the patients.
Today 70 Innova will arrive in these cities
So far, a total of 126 SUV vehicles have been made available in all the districts of the state. Of these, 26 vehicles have been given in Hisar range while 20-20 have been given in Gurugram Police Commissionerate and Rohtak Range, 10 each in Faridabad and Panchkula Commissionerate, 12-12 in Ambala and Karnal Range and 16 vehicles in South Range Rewari. He said that 70 SUVs will reach the districts today and the remaining 244 trains will be dispatched by Sunday evening.
The needy can take help on the number 108
The DGP said that amid increasing cases of coronaviruses, police vehicles have been specifically given to provide free transport service to Kovid patients. The needy person can dial 108 or the police control room number of the concerned district for this facility.
Giving information, he said that the policemen driving these vehicles will wear masks, gloves and PPE kits while on duty to avoid exposure to infection. The state police force is working shoulder to shoulder with the doctors to help the infected amid the deadly wave of Kovid epidemic.
