Former Maharashtra CM and senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan has given a big statement regarding Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He has said that if the BJP government removes its functions, then on the basis of the work of Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in the Union Cabinet, it can be said that he is an efficient and hard working minister. He called Nitin Gadkari a right person in the wrong party.
Ashok Chavan is currently the Minister for Public Works (PWD) in the Government of Maharashtra. Ashok Chavan said this while addressing a press conference on the completion of seven years of the Modi government. He said, “Nitin Gadkari takes seriously the issues related to basic amenities and infrastructure in Maharashtra. I praise his works either by writing articles or on Twitter .. It does not mean that I support his political views, he is the right person in the wrong party. ” He criticized the central government by accusing the central government of being dirty in the matter of dealing with the demonetisation, GST and Corona crisis, but tied bridges to praise Nitin Gadkari.

Gadkari is not given credit according to stature
While praising Nitin Gadkari’s works as Minister for Road Development and Transport, Ashok Chavan accused the central government of not giving credit to Gadkari’s works and reducing his authority and stature. He accused the central government of treating Maharashtra step-motherly. He said that according to the number of corona infected, the center should not have given the vaccine to Maharashtra.
Fadnavis government confused on Maratha reservation
Regarding Maratha reservation, Ashok Chavan said that the Center should make an early decision to give reservation by amending the Constitution. He said that if the Maratha reservation given by the Devendra Fadnavis government was complete, then it should have stayed in the court. But he could not stand before the Supreme Court. He alleged that the Fadnavis government acted to confuse the Maratha society.

Ashok Chavan said that the road construction work has been started under the Jalna-Nanded highway project. Their survey has been completed. After the construction of this highway, traffic to Mumbai will become easier and it will take less time.
