School Chalo Abhiyan: UP is close to achieving 100% target in School Chalo campaign, 1.52 crore students were enrolled in 2016-17

In fact, the Yogi government has a target of connecting 2 crore children in the age group of 6-14 years to the campaign in the academic year 2022-23. However, at present 1.88 crore children have been successfully enrolled in 1.3 lakh schools in 75 districts of the state and they are also studying in the school. Prayagraj included in top-5 list in School Chalo campaign

After this campaign, 1 lakh 5 thousand 85 enrollments have taken place in the council schools of Prayagraj. With this, Prayagraj has joined the top-5 districts of the state in terms of admission of children in council schools. In this case, BSA Praveen Kumar Tiwari said that last year 4 lakh 46 thousand 184 children were enrolled in the council schools of the district. This year a target of one lakh 57 new enrollments was set in the district.
