Only this work will be done in the bank
In response to a question asked by a customer on Twitter, the bank has said that all the work is not being done in the bank yet. According to the information given by the bank, at present only these works are being done in the bank.
– Cash deposit and withdrawal
– Clearing off check
– Remittance (Transfer money from one party to another party’s account and it is mostly used for sending money abroad.)
– government transactions
At what time will the bank open?
There are time-to-time changes in the working hours of State Bank of India branches i.e. timing of banking business. Due to the continuous increase in Corona cases, earlier the SBI branch used to work from 10 am to 2 pm, now it has been extended by 2 hours in some states including Uttar Pradesh which have relaxed the lockdown. When asked by a user about this, SBI has informed from its official Twitter handle that the branches of the bank will now be open from 10 am to 4 pm.
