RK Ashram Marg metro station of the country’s capital will also now be like Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, New Delhi and Mandi House. RK Ashram Marg metro station on Blue Line is being converted into an interchange. It will also connect the Magenta Line. With this move of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), it will work to connect the passengers from Central to North Delhi. Due to which the passengers will get great relief. This new underground station will be constructed next to the existing elevated station. This interchange hub will be convenient for the commuters and will also reduce the load on the busy Blue Line.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) According to RK Ashram Marg metro station will soon become the fifth interchange station of Central Delhi. Till now only Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, New Delhi and Mandi House were interchange stations. From where the passengers used to get the facility of catching the second line metro. At the same time, the already existing station on the Blue Line (Dwarka-Vaishali/Noida Electronic City) is being converted into an interchange facility. It will be connected to the proposed underground RK Ashram Marg station on the Extended Magenta Line (Janakpuri West-RK Ashram Marg).
