Politics has started regarding visiting religious places before the visit of Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to Ayodhya. This visit of Kejriwal is also being considered important for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. But Congress leader Rashid Alvi has targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party on the pretext of this.

Rashid Alvi alleged that BJP has linked religion with politics, so leaders of other parties are forced to ‘go to religious places’ to connect with voters. Alvi’s statement comes ahead of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, which is scheduled to visit Lord Ram on October 26.

After BJP, everyone started the journey

Alvi said, “BJP has forced leaders of other parties to go to religious places as it connects religion with politics. Most of the leaders are undertaking religious pilgrimages after they were started by BJP.

He said, ‘Every party wants to send a message in its interest to the public before the next year’s Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Arvind Kejriwal is going to Ayodhya on 26 October to worship Lord Ram. Every party has the freedom to undertake religious pilgrimage.

Kejriwal will worship Ram Lalla

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh next week. There he will go to the birthplace of Lord Rama and offer prayers. Assembly elections are to be held in the state next year. A grand and huge temple is being constructed at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. At present, the statue of Lord Rama is kept in a makeshift temple.

Officials said that Kejriwal will offer prayers to Lord Ram on October 26. The Aam Aadmi Party has announced to contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections next year.
