Rajasthan: Tragic accident during Durga idol immersion in Dholpur! 5 youths died by drowning; 2 brothers who died

5 people including 2 brothers died due to drowning during Durga idol immersion in Dholpur district of Rajasthan. It is said that the accident happened during idol immersion in Parvati river. Five people including two real brothers drowned during the idol immersion. By the time they were saved, they were already dead. All of them had come on Friday to immerse the idol of Durga, but this accident happened. The dead bodies of all have been recovered. DM and SP reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. Regarding the incident, the police said that the five deceased who drowned in the Basedi Parvati river were residents of Bhawanpura village in Agra.

In fact, villagers were immersing Durga idols in Parvati river near Bhuteshwar temple in Bhuteshwar area of ​​Basedi in Dholpur district. During this, five youths of the village got into the deep water of the Parvati river along with the Durga idol. But due to the idol being overweight, their balance was disturbed and everyone went on drowning in the river one after the other. Meanwhile, five youths drowned and died due to going into deep water. After this there was chaos on the banks of the river. People tried a lot to save the youth. But, did not get success.

After 3 hours of search operation, the dead bodies were removed.

According to the police officer, the villagers who came with the youths raised an alarm after seeing the four drowning. The patrolling police team called the divers. First the bodies of Rajesh and Satyapal were taken out. After this a search operation was carried out in search of Ranveer, Ghanshyam and Krishna. The bodies of both of them were also taken out after a struggle of about 3 hours. The dead were identified by the villagers who accompanied them. Dholpur Police has informed Agra Police. At the same time, after the postmortem, the bodies have been handed over to their families.

Youth drowned after deteriorating balance in the river

In this case, the police officer said that on Friday Dussehra, people were coming to immerse the idol of Maa Durga on Chambal and Parvati rivers. Police force was deployed on this occasion. During this, people of Bhuvanpura village of Jagner police station area on the border came to the Parvati river. Four youths of the village got down in the water carrying the idol of the mother. Due to the weight of the idol, the balance of all four got spoiled. Feet slipped and drowned. Where the names of the dead are Rajesh, Ranveer, Satyapal, Sanjay and Krishna. Everyone’s age is between 22 and 24 years. Rajesh and Ranveer were both real brothers. According to the local villagers, the deceased brothers had a sewing shop in Jagner. Last year a brother had died due to illness. According to the family, Rajesh was going to get married after the next one month. Wedding preparations were going on in the house but this accident happened.
