Electricity demand increased by 35 percent

Gehlot further wrote that since March and April, due to the scorching heat, the demand for electricity has increased by 35 percent in the state, due to which power crisis has arisen in many parts of the country including Rajasthan. Let us inform that at present, power cuts of 2 to 10 hours are being done in 16 states of the country. According to Gehlot, one of the reasons behind the power crisis is problems in coal supply and limited stock availability.

The Chief Minister said that according to the roster system in rural and urban areas, the department is cutting electricity. At the same time, it has been decided to cut electricity up to 50 percent in industries. However, essential services in the state have been kept completely out of the purview of power cuts.

CM’s appeal regarding water

Apart from this, appealing about drinking water, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that all the district collectors have been ordered for smooth drinking water system in all the districts of the state. At present, water is being arranged through 6654 tankers every day in 4142 villages, 43 urban areas with shortage of drinking water.
