According to media reports, according to the plan of the Gehlot government, 15 grams of milk powder mixed with hot water will be distributed to children from classes 1 to 5 in government schools. According to the information, 150 ml milk can be made from 15 grams of milk powder. Apart from this, 20 grams of milk powder mixed with warm water will be given to children from class 5 to 8.
The announcement was made in the state budget 2022-23
It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Government, Ashok Gehlot, had announced during the budget of the year 2022-23 that under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, students of classes 1 to 8 would be given hot milk in a box twice a week. An additional fund of Rs 476.44 crore has been provisioned, after which CM Gehlot issued its financial approval in the past. According to the information, milk will be delivered to schools with the help of Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation.
