Actually, a population of about 5900 lives in 10 villages of Laturi Panchayat. In 20 days, only 9 people came positive in 150 RT-PCR tests. Out of which 6 people have also become negative. The good thing is that the villagers here have made a quarantine center for the corona patients in the school of the panchayat.
Do house-to-house survey
Manish Dhakad, village sarpanch and engineer by profession, says that in every village, we have made a team of 5-5 people. The team members conduct door-to-door surveys in their respective villages and are providing drug kits and treatment in collaboration with the Primary Health Center if suspected patients are found. At the same time, the villagers are also being motivated for vaccines and investigations. He said that in the panchayat, the villages Bhulahedi, Bhulaheda, Barankhari, Dorani, Jethani, Dhani Budhankheda Latura, Dungarpur and Laturi come.
Sarpanch made his number a helpline number
The Sarpanch has changed his number into a helpline number for the convenience of the people. He said that to help the common man, his mobile number was released for the helpline. So that people can get the test done when they are limited. Good results of this initiative are also being seen. People are calling immediately when there is a mild cough, cold fever. They are getting medicine and treatment on time. Everyday 10 to 15 calls are received which are helped.
People above 60 got both doses
The sarpanch told that both the people aged above 60 have taken both doses in the village. While 45 plus people have taken the first dose. However, vaccination has not started for those who are 18 plus yet.
Corona not named in 7 villages

On 11 May, a quarantine center has been built in the government school in Laturi village. The good thing is that not a single person has yet needed to go to the Quarantine Center.
