At the same time, in the last 9 years, there is the biggest increase in the target of disbursement of loans to farmers. According to the data of the state government, a target of Rs 16 thousand crore crop loan was fixed in 2021-22. In such a situation, crop loan of Rs 15235.33 crore has been distributed to 26,34,355 farmers.
In fact, the cooperative minister of the state government, Udayalal Anjana, told that CM Ashok Gehlot had announced in the budget 2021-22 to distribute short-term crop loans of Rs 16000 crores to farmers on behalf of central cooperative banks. . Along with this, it was also announced to link 3 lakh new farmers with the zero interest crop loan scheme being run by the state government. Under this, 2.40 lakh new farmers of the state have registered and applied on the online portal.
Demand from Union Fertilizer Ministry for supply of DAP: Gehlot
Significantly, CM Ashok Gehlot told that there is a shortage of DAP fertilizer across the country. Although the state has got 6 rakes of DAP and 3.5 rakes of NPK in the last 6 days. At present, farmers have got a lot of relief from this. But due to the recent rains in the state, the demand for DAP is increasing again. At the same time, Gehlot said that DAP is supplied only by the Central Government, in such a situation, the State Government has continuously contacted the Union Ministry of Fertilizers and demanded to provide 1 lakh 10 thousand metric tonnes of DAP to the state in October.

Let us inform that in October, 1.50 lakh metric tonnes of DAP was demanded by the state government. In such a situation, 68 thousand metric tonnes of DAP has been approved by the Central Government. At present, 60 thousand metric tonnes of DAP has been received from that too. At the same time, CM Gehlot had reviewed the availability of fertilizers in a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. He said that the letter taken by him in the past has been drawn to the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards the adequate supply of DAP in the state and the difficulties being faced by the farmers.
