The party is planning to help the BJP workers who lost their lives during the Corona relief work in Rajasthan. Rajasthan BJP President Satish Poonia said that we are giving responsibility to MPs, MLAs and other public representatives of the party to help the victims’ families of the workers.
State BJP has prepared a list of party workers who died due to COVID-19 to help their families. The party has made a plan to help the families of BJP workers who lost their lives.
The state party unit has decided to put the responsibility of the families of the deceased BJP workers on the public representatives. Poonia said that BJP is the first party, which has started a program to help the families of those workers, who laid down their lives in the midst of the pandemic and continued to provide services to the people.
2.5 lakh workers donated blood
Poonia said that on the basis of information sought from BJP’s District Executive Committee and District BJP President, the party unit has prepared a list of deceased BJP workers.
He said that around 2.50 lakh BJP workers participated in the ‘Lok Sewa’ campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic and collected 40,000 units of blood through voluntary blood donation camps. He said that the party workers prepared about 10 lakh food packets along with 3.25 lakh ration kits for the people affected by COVID-19.

Poonia said that because BJP workers have lost their lives while helping people, it is our duty to help their families. He further said that the party has decided not only to take care of such families, but also to help them financially and get daughters married in their families.
Poonia said, “From 2020 till now, a total of 585 BJP workers died due to corona. Out of these, maximum BJP workers have died from Kota division. Due to Corona virus, BJP workers have also lost their lives in other districts including Tonk, Ajmer, Nagaur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, Udaipur, Banswara, Udaipur, Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar. “
