He said that so far more than 500 farmers have died in the agitation.
The movement of farmers of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh is going on on the border (Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur) of Delhi-NCR, demanding the repeal of all three agricultural laws. Opposition parties are constantly seen standing shoulder to shoulder with the farmers. Rahul Gandhi said that so far 500 farmers have died during the agitation.

‘Farmers fighting for their rights’
Rahul Gandhi tweeted that farmers are being killed everyday in the security of the farm and the country. But still he is not scared and is constantly fighting for himself. Even before this, Rahul has tweeted against the Modi government many times by supporting the farmers.
Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been standing on the Delhi border for several months. Similarly, 32 years ago, farmers had stalled Delhi by attacking the Boat Club of Delhi. The farmers are once again determined that they are not going to falter until the government withdraws the law.
Why is the movement happening?
The central government had brought 3 new agriculture bills in the month of September, which have now become law after getting the President’s assent. But farmers are not liking these laws. Farmers say that these laws will harm farmers and benefit private buyers and big corporate houses. Along with this, the farmers are also afraid of ending the minimum support price of the crop.
