Lord Krishna Mata Radha
After Janmashtami, Radha Ashtami 2021 is one of the important festivals for Hindus as on this day Mata Radha, wife of Lord Krishna was born. According to Hindu beliefs, Radha is an incarnation of Rani Mata Lakshmi. This auspicious day is celebrated 15 days after Krishna Janmashtami i.e. on Ashtami Tithi or eighth date of Shukla Paksha in Bhadrapada month. This year this special day will be celebrated on 14 September 2021.
It is also known as Radha Jayanti. On this day devotees observe a one-day fast and worship both Mother Radha and Lord Krishna for a prosperous and healthy life.

Worship method of Radha Ashtami 2021
Goddess Radha is worshiped on this auspicious day in the mid-day i.e. in the afternoon.
– Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes
– Collect puja material and decorate the temple at home
– In the afternoon, take a bath to Mother Radha and put her on new clothes.
– Offer flowers, incense sticks and do tilak
– Chant Radha Gayatri Mantra and offer Prasad
– End the worship by performing aarti
Significance of Radha Ashtami 2021
According to Hindu belief, devotees who worship Goddess Radha on this day get special blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. According to Hindu mythology, Mata Radha is believed to be an incarnation of Mata Lakshmi. It was at the time of Krishna Janmashtami, she wished to accompany Lord Vishnu and take birth on earth to represent her true love and devotion for Lord Shri Krishna.
