Total 117 seats in Punjab Assembly
Let us inform that there are a total of 117 assembly seats in the Punjab Legislative Assembly. Of these, 34 seats are reserved. In the last assembly elections, the Congress had won 21 out of 34 reserved seats. The Congress, led by Captain Amarinder Singh, won 77 of the 117 seats and captured power. The second number was the Aam Aadmi Party, which contested the Punjab Assembly elections for the first time in 2017 and emerged as the main opposition party. The party had won 20 seats during this period.
