On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, the department has prepared a detailed action plan for this and has been estimated to cost Rs 30 lakh for the procession house to be built in the panchayat and Rs 24.36 lakh for the construction of the funeral site.

The draft for its construction has been sent to the Finance Department for approval. State Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya (Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya) said that the state government will provide procession facilities in all gram panchayats. Maurya said that the public representatives and public are demanding this during their tours in the state and after this the state government has decided to build procession houses and funeral sites.

According to the information, Rs 17456.70 crore will be spent on the construction of the procession house and Rs 14174.84 crore will be spent on the construction of the funeral site in all the panchayats of the state. The Deputy Chief Minister has directed that arrangements should also be made to build a road to reach the proposed place for making procession house and funeral site in the panchayats. Along with this, community toilets should also be constructed there.
People’s representatives and public are demanding
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that during the tour in the state, the general public and public representatives are demanding to build a procession house and funeral site in the panchayats. Therefore, the state government has prepared a proposal for this. This proposal has been sent to the Finance Department and work will start after getting permission from there.
Construction will be done with the help of central government
According to media reports, the format of the procession and funeral venue has been prepared from the Infrastructure Development Fund created by the Central Government and the government has made an arrangement of one lakh crores for it. According to the information, provision has been made from this fund to get funds for schemes related to economic activities and the money being given for a long period will also be available in the form of loan.
