PM Narendra Modi Twitter Account Hacked: The Twitter account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hacked late on Saturday night. After which a tweet related to bitcoin was posted on it. However, soon this tweet was removed from the official Twitter handle of the Prime Minister (Hacking on Twitter). His account is now completely safe. In this matter, the Prime Minister’s Office has issued a statement and has asked people to ignore any tweet during hacking.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has said, ‘The Twitter handle of PM Narendra Modi has been tampered with. The matter has been taken to Twitter and the account was immediately secured. Any tweet shared during the brief period when the account was compromised should be ignored. In fact, a tweet related to bitcoin was made from the Prime Minister’s Twitter account at 2:07 pm, then it was immediately deleted (Twitter Account Hacked). Another tweet was made in the same period. That too got deleted then. Then at 2:11 pm, a third similar tweet was made. which lasted for some time.

Twitter has also clarified in the matter. A Twitter spokesperson said, ‘There is a facility for 24X7 communication with the Prime Minister’s Office. As soon as we became aware of this activity, our teams took the necessary steps to secure the hacked account (Hacked Twitter Account). Our investigation has revealed that there is no information about any other affected accounts at this time. However, it has not yet been told from where the Twitter account has been hacked or where are the hackers from.

Which tweet happened during hacking?
When the Prime Minister’s account was hacked, a tweet related to the digital currency bitcoin was posted on it. The hackers wrote in the tweet that India has legally recognized Bitcoin. The hackers tweeted from PM Modi’s Twitter handle and wrote, ‘India has officially given legal recognition to bitcoin. The government has bought 500 BTC and is distributing it among the common people. Hurry up India… the future has come today!’ A link was also pasted with this tweet.
