Punjab National Bank has written in its notice, ‘Dear customers, the IFSC code of E-OBC and EUNI has been changed from 1 April 2021. The information of the new IFSC code is available in the respective branches and is available on the Punjab National Bank’s corporate website www.pnbindia.in. ‘

IFSC codes can also be found through SMS

Also, the bank has said that IFSC codes can also be obtained through SMS. Customers can also get the information of new IFSC through their registered mobile number by SMS to 9264092640 in the format given below. For this, you have to send UPGR .

User ID changes too

You have to click on ‘Know your user ID’ to know your new user ID. After this, eOBC customers have to put ‘O’ in front of their 8-digit user ID. eUNI customers have to put ‘U’ in front of their 8-digit user ID. Customers with a 9-digit user ID do not need to make changes.

Checkbook also needs to be changed

PNB has said in a tweet, Dear e-OBC / e-UNI customers, please get a new PNB Check Book through Branch, Internet Banking Service, Mobile Banking Service and ATM. With this, the bank said, the check book of OBC and UNI is still valid till June 30, 2021. Pre-issued (post dated) OBC, UNI check will be valid only till June 30, 2021. Oriental Bank of India and United Bank of India have been merged into Punjab National Bank. Customers of these two banks have now become customers of PNB.
