Along with becoming the CM of West Bengal, CM Mamata Banerjee wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding the payment of the Prime Minister Krishak Samman Nidhi to the farmers of Bengal. It has been mentioned that all the arrangements have been made by the state government as per the central government guidelines.
In the letter, it has been said that the names of the farmers have been entered in the specific portal created by the central government. Explain that during the assembly election campaign, BJP leaders had alleged that Mamata Banerjee is anti-farmer and she has been a hindrance in giving center money to the farmers. A few days ago the Prime Minister promised to give 18,000 rupees to the farmers.

All farmers have been given names in the portal
Mamta Banerjee said in her letter that the state government said that out of 21.79 lakh farmers, about 14.91 lakh farmers have been registered in the portal and a nodal officer has also been appointed for this. The letter said that a letter has also been sent by the state government to the Union Ministry of Agriculture, but no reply has been received in this regard. Numbers are also given. He said that PM Modi should direct the concerned Ministry of Agriculture to start the process of transferring the amount of PM Samman Nidhi to the account of the farmer.
