Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi only spoke to him about his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ over the phone on the status of Kovid-19. Soren said that it would have been better if the Prime Minister used to listen to ‘work talk’ and listen to ‘work talk’. His reaction came at a time when PM Modi held talks with him and the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana on Thursday on the status of Kovid-19.

In Jharkhand, 141 more people died due to corona virus infection in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of people who died from this infection increased to 3346. This information has been given in the report released by the Health Department. The report said that 5770 new cases of infection were reported in the state, after which the total number of corona infections in the state increased to 263115. It says that out of 263115 infected people in the state, 200237 have been infection free so far. The number of patients under treatment in the state is 5770.
In the last 24 hours in India, a record 4,12,262 new cases of corona virus were reported while 3980 people died due to infection. With this, the total number of infected people in the country increased to 2,10,77,410 and the number of dead to 2,30,168. Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi are among the 10 states where 72.19 per cent of the total cases of Kovid-19 reported in a single day are being registered. Other states include Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.
