PM Kisan: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, an initiative has been taken to provide easy access to the funds to the farmers. Farmers can now get money at their homes with the help of postal department.

According to the information given by the department, we have taken an initiative to provide easy access to the amount received by the farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Farmers can now get the money of ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ at their home with the help of postal department. Krishna Kumar Yadav, postmaster general of Varanasi region said, “Farmers have to go to bank branch or ATM to withdraw money from Kisan Samman Nidhi and it is difficult in rural areas. We are trying to make it easy for the farmers.
Postal Department started a special campaign
Yadav said that the Department of Posts is starting ‘Aapka Bank, Aapke Dwar’ campaign to benefit more and more farmers who have received PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. He told that farmers can withdraw the money of Kisan Samman Nidhi from their Aadhaar linked bank account with Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) sitting at home. For this a postal representative will come to his house.
The official said that this campaign will start from June 4 and will run till June 13. Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, eligible farmers get Rs 6000 annually. These rupees are sent to their bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The installment of two thousand rupees is sent to the account of farmers thrice a year. Prime Minister Modi himself releases money for farmers every 4 months.
e-KYC last date extended
There is another relief news for the farmers registered under PM Kisan Yojana. The Central Government has extended the date for conducting e-KYC. Now farmers will be able to get e-KYC done till July 31. Earlier, the date of 31 May was fixed for this work. But for the convenience of the farmers, the last date has been extended again by the Ministry of Agriculture so that the farmers who have not been able to get eKYC done yet, they can complete it.
