Petrol and diesel prices increased for the sixth consecutive day

The common man is troubled by the rising fuel prices in the country. Petrol prices have crossed the hundred rupees mark in many cities of the country. From food items, to petrol-diesel (Petrol-Diesel Price Hike) and gas cylinders, the prices are increasing. Oil companies also increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the sixth consecutive day on Sunday. Petrol has become costlier by 30 paise and diesel by 35 paise today across the country. For the first time in Mumbai, diesel has crossed Rs 100 per liter. Petrol price in Mumbai today is Rs 110 per liter.

Just before the festivals, the fuel becoming expensive in this way is increasing the inflation all-round. Diesel is being sold at Rs 100.66 per liter in Mumbai and petrol is being sold at Rs 110.12 per liter. Due to rising crude oil prices, oil companies are continuously increasing the prices. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 2.50 in the last 13 days. Diesel became costlier by Rs 2.95 in the month of October.

Petrol in Mumbai Rs 110.12 per liter and diesel Rs 100.66 per liter

Today in Mumbai the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 110.12 per liter and in Delhi petrol is being sold at Rs 104.14 per liter. The price of petrol is Rs 101.53 per liter in Chennai and Rs 104.80 per liter in Kolkata. The price of petrol in Bhopal is Rs 112.69 per liter and in Bangalore the price of petrol is Rs 107.77 per liter.

Talking about the price of diesel across the country, a liter of diesel is getting Rs 100.66 in Mumbai and Rs 92.82 per liter in Delhi. Diesel is priced at Rs 97.26 per liter in Chennai and Rs 95.93 per liter in Kolkata. Diesel price in Bhopal is Rs 101.91 per liter and in Bangalore diesel is Rs 98.52 per liter.

The rise in the price of crude oil in the international market, due to this increasing inflation

The supply of crude oil in the world’s commodity market is less than the demand. This is the reason why fuel prices are increasing continuously. At the end of the week i.e. on Friday, the price of Brent crude oil in the US increased from $ 0.44 to $ 82.39. The price of WTI crude rose from $ 1.05 to $ 79.35 per barrel. Due to this, the price of petrol and diesel is touching the sky in the country and in Maharashtra including Mumbai.
