While hearing on the issue of dealing with Corona, the Patna High Court has reprimanded the Bihar government on Tuesday. But in the middle of the hearing, after stating that the government has announced the lockdown till May 15, the court did not pass any order.
When the government’s counsel Lalit Kishore told the court about the lockdown, the bench of Justices Chakradhari Sharan Singh and Mohit Kumar Shah said that at least one order has been complied with. Hearing on Tuesday, the court said that it will issue appropriate orders on Thursday. The court said that if proper orders are not issued to protect the right to life of the people, then the court will fail in its duty.
Government failed to implement the previous directives
The court said that the court directive is not being issued today. However, the state government has completely failed to implement the previous directives. Previous instructions have appeared only on paper. Like the previous hearing of the court, this time the government also looked annoyed. The court said that we cannot wait only after putting our lives at risk.
We are ashamed
The court said that we have all failed. We are ashamed of everything we have done. Do not make fun of government action. We can’t wait any longer. You can play with people’s lives, not us. This also applies to us that we have also failed. Because we depended on the false assurance of the state officials.
Reminded government of their assurance
When Bihar’s top law officer Lalit Kishore claimed that the state had taken effective steps. So the bench said that they should not make fun of the action. When Kishore told the court that 150 beds have been arranged for the corona patients at Rajendra Nagar Eye Hospital. So the court rebuked that it is nothing and reminded the state about the assurance given by them.
Status out of control
The court said that you had said to start the arrangement of one thousand, 500 beds in ESIC in IGIMS. But nothing has been done. The bench said that the condition of PMCS is bad. NMCH is struggling. The court said that on April 15, we had passed the order only on the first recommendation that strict steps need to be taken to deal with the situation. Which has gone out of control now.
