It is noteworthy that a proposal to open 34 paddy purchases in the district was sent to the government by the Garhwa district administration. But despite this, only one paddy purchasing center has been opened so far.
Purchasing centers are not opening due to lack of necessary equipment
After this, a proposal to open ten paddy purchasing centers was sent again, after which it was agreed to open 44 paddy purchasing centers in the district, but new centers have not been opened yet. It is being told that due to lack of necessary equipment to open the paddy purchasing center, even after getting the consent, the paddy purchasing centers are not able to open. Due to this farmers are facing problems. Even if 44 centers are opened, the farmers will have to face problems. Because there are total 189 packs and lamps in the district. In this also, farmers may face problems due to distance. According to Dainik Jagran, District Cooperative Officer Garhwa Amit Kumar said that paddy purchasing centers of the district will be opened soon. For this the necessary equipment and machines have been demanded.
