Why is it being compared to eight years ago?
The maths to compare the increase in MSP with the last 8 years is very simple. Actually BJP got majority just 8 years ago by removing Congress from power. Under which Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country. He has been leading the country since then, which is his second term. In such a situation, these days the BJP government is in the fray with the slogan of 8 years of governance. In which the central government is comparing its policies and decisions with the policies and decisions of the previous Congress government.
