Special session of Delhi Legislative Assembly is starting from today.
The one-day special session of Delhi Assembly is starting from 26th November i.e. today. The assembly session will begin at 11 am on Friday and may be extended depending on the requirements of legislative business. In the session, discussions will be held on the withdrawal of cases filed against farmers including agricultural laws, compensation for the deaths of farmers and their families, giving legal basis to MPC. There is a possibility of a big announcement on compensation from the Delhi government.
Delhi government will propose to do profession for farmers
At the same time, reports related to Delhi Technological University and Indraprastha University will also be presented in the House. In the special session convened on the occasion of completion of one year of the farmers’ movement, agriculture will remain at the center of discussion. Officials say that Delhi Government Minister Gopal Rai will present a proposal related to this in the House. This will be discussed in the House. During this, we will welcome the withdrawal of agricultural laws and condemn those political parties and leaders who have called farmers anti-national.
In view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, it will be necessary for the MLAs to wear masks and follow social distancing. It has been said in the bulletin that they will have to carry anti-Covid-19 vaccination certificate or negative report of corona test with them.
