Maharashtra has the highest number of Omicron infection cases in the country.
Earlier, two Omicrons were found infected in Mumbai. An Omicron infected patient was found in Dombivali, adjacent to Mumbai. One in Pune and six Omicron infected patients have been found in Pimpri Chinchwad, adjacent to Pune. Now after the detection of ten more Omicron infected patients, only a little less than half of the cases in the country have been found in Maharashtra.
